  • WHO WE ARE

NEUROFIT is a preclinical Contract Research Organization (CRO) specializing in the evaluation of new chemical entities or new active pharmaceutical ingredients for the treatment of nervous system disorders. Neurofit offers a comprehensive list of validated methods and disease models for drug efficacy and screening. Our commitment is to accelerate our customer’s drug development projects. Our worldwide customer base includes leading biopharmaceutical companies in Europe, USA and Japan, ranging from large pharma to startup companies.

    THE RATIONALE

Despite the large amount of rodent studies (mice and rats), no effective treatment was discovered to cure chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). One of the underlying reasons for this could be the lack in rodents of a good representation of the spontaneous sensory paresthesia that the patients undergo. Additionally, no-to-limited data are available in rodents with respect to the changes in the axonal excitability under CIPN condition even though this investigational technique is widely used in the clinical setting of peripheral neuropathy.

  • THE OPPORTUNITY

Neurofit is looking for a post-doctoral researcher, to co-apply for a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship.
Within its Research facility based near Strasbourg (France), Neurofit is actively looking for a highly motivated and creative Post-Doc with expertise in neuroscience (with a specific interest in pain animal models) to take a leading role supporting the development of a rodent CIPN (chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy) model with a high translational value.
