At Neurofit, 1 week (once daily) treatment with resveratrol fully restores inflammation-based cognitive deficit in the mouse (see below).
This preclinical finding further supports the potential therapeutic benefits of resveratrol in the brain disease conditions involving inflammation such as AD.
■ The graph shows a marked reduction in the level of spontaneous alternation of LPS-mice (red column) during the T-maze task as compared to that of control mice (grey column). The decrease in the alternation reflects stereotypic and repetitive behavior, a common symptoms in dementia patients.

■ The treatment of LPS-mice with Resveratrol (green column) significantly increases the alternation performance of LPS-mice. Resveratrol was administrated at 10 mg/kg once daily for 7 days.
