Dynamic Weight Bearing : imbalance weight distribution in freely moving animal.
-
Presentation
- The dynamic weight bearing is based on an instrumented floor-cage combined with a video recording to evaluate spontaneous pain in freely moving rodents. Neurofit implements this test to assess the efficacy of your compounds acting on neuromuscular activity.

Sciatic nerve crush
Model for peripheral nerve regeneration. It serves to evaluate therapeutic intervention that might boost axonal regeneration.
Formalin
The pain induced by the injection of dilute formalin solution is persistent (tonic) and comprises neurogenic and inflammatory components.
-
Streptozotocin
Diabetic neuropathy can be studied in rat following streptozotocin administration which induces a rapid and persistent hyperglycaemia.
Measure of neuromuscular junction function and fiber morphometry
Measurement of electrophysiological parameters such as SNCV and CMAP are useful tools to assess the neuromuscular junction function.
